Quick Case from ManhattanLife is a voluntary benefits product that offers your employees a range of insurance products to pick and choose from. Quick Case products can serve as your company’s primary source of health coverage, or it can serve as a supplement to existing employer health insurance.


All voluntary benefits products under QuickCase are guaranteed issue, payroll-deducted, and simplified enrollment, with a turnaround time of 48 hours from the time of case submission.

Accident


ManhattanLife Accident group insurance offers your employees supplemental coverage for accidents, injuries, ambulance services and accidental death.

Protection goes beyond basic Accident protection and provides benefits that helps pay for deductibles and other services your standard health care coverage may not provide. Our voluntary benefits Accident insurance policy offers the flexibility to vary protection by offering two levels of coverage. There are no calendar year maximums. Coverage starts at zero with each new accident and benefits pay in addition to any coverage in place.

Critical Illness


The ManhattanLife Critical Illness and Cancer insurance policy helps to protect an employee’s and family’s assets in the event of a critical illness. It offers valuable benefits to cover costs that arise from a critical illness that are not covered by your ordinary health insurance.

Our voluntary benefits Critical Illness and Cancer coverage pays lump sum benefits payments that can assist in covering a variety of expenses associated with a critical illness or cancer treatment, including:

  • out-of-pocket medical care costs
  • home healthcare
  • travel to and from treatment facilities
  • training and rehabilitation
  • loss of income due to the employee’s or family members’ absences from work
  • child care

The Critical Illness plan covers vascular conditions, cancer, and other critical illness, including but not limited to heart attack, stroke, end stage renal failure, transplants, severe burns, and paralysis. All benefits are paid directly to the insured and there is no waiting period between covered conditions payouts.

Hospital Indemnity


A Hospital Indemnity group insurance plan pays employees a cash benefit when they are hospitalized. They can use the cash benefits however they want – to help pay medical bills or everyday living expenses such as housing, car payments, utility bills, childcare, groceries, and credit card bills.

Our voluntary benefits Hospital Indemnity plan allows you to choose from three different plan designs: a low, medium, and high option.

  • Low Option 1 - $100 daily benefit, $1,000 First Admission
  • Mid Option 2 - $100 daily benefit, $1,000 First Admission, $50 $25/$50 Well-being
  • High Option 3 - $200 daily benefit, $1,000 First Admission, $50/$25/$50 Well-being, Inpatient $200, Outpatient $100, Diagnosis $100

HI+Plus


Our Hi-Plus product combines our Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity group insurance plans with a well-being benefit. Employees still have the option to receive Level Term Life coverage in addition to Hi-Plus. Hi-Plus offers three tiers of benefits for employees to choose between a low, medium, and high option.

  • Low Option 1 - $100 Hospital Indemnity Amount, $100 Emergency Treatment Benefit, $500 Accident Benefit, $500 First Hospital Admission Benefit, $5,000 Tier 3 Diagnosis Benefit, and $50 Wellness Screening Benefit with $25/$50 Lifestyle Rewards Program

Level Term Life


Our voluntary benefits Term Life plan provides life insurance coverage for a 10 year period, during which premiums never change.

Term Life group insurance coverage is simple; your employees may choose either a $10,000 or $25,000 benefit.
